Weekly Project 10 - The Most Handsome Boy In The World

I know you all are jealous. I know you all are in amazement how cute this little man is. Is' ok. I sometimes can't believe I own him either, and that I actually produced something this precious.

Sweet baby Josh, you have always been my little monkey, but now you are a climbing monkey. You can and will climb on anything. So, while you were up in the deck chairs outside, trying to sit in big chairs like Mommy, I snapped a few pics. You, my precious boy, own the most beautiful eyes and beautifl eyelashes I have ever seen. You are a future heartbreaker I'm afraid. I can already see myself chasing girls away and telling them not to call our house so late.

Slideshow 15-16 months

This is the slideshow of photos from months 15-16 months old. For those new readers to the blog, I started doing slideshows since the beginning. I take a gazillion pictures of my babies every month. (Literally took over 400 in May, and its not over yet). I started doing slideshows b/c it was easier to put a few of those random pictures in a blog post this way, b/c they didn't really fit in its own post. So, they are just random pictures throughout the month, SOOC (Straight out of the camera, un-edited)

Enjoy!

I Heart Faces - Favorite from May

This week's photo challenge is picking a favorite photo that you took in May. Well, I went through and I took 428 photos in May. Yikes. Yes, I know its bad, but can you blame me? Well, if you take 428 photos, that makes for a very hard decision. So, I didn't go with complete cute, I went with what I thought might be a good photo (light, composition, etc). I love this photo. I like that sweet Jules is running through the first bubbles of summertime :) I love the sun shining high through the break in the trees, like that is exactly what the trees are supposed to do.I love, LOVE the colors. The greens, yellows...just beautiful, and so summery. Just a pretty photo. If only Jules was wearing a fabulous white vintage eyelet dress...

Steppin' Out Saturday*

The babes and I have had a super fun weekend so far! And, the great new is that we have a whole other day to celebrate! (Memorial Day) The rest of this afternoon and Monday will consist of some really cute babies is some really cute swimsuits in the pool for the first time this summer!

However, you are inquiring on our Saturday (and Sunday, couldn't resist). Saturday I decided to dress them up in their matchy Memorial Day finest. They didn't do much, but we did make it to our weekly Gymboree Class, and they were of course the cutest babies there (but I'm partial, of course). I didn't accompany them this time, though, because I was playing tennis in a Memorial Day Scramble. Of course, I did manage to snap a few cute pics outside with them in their fun antenna from the dollar bin at Target!

**I, by no stretch of the imagination, consider myself a fashionista or trendsetter. The main reason I participate in these fun weekly posts is to get more pics of the babes and me together, to "MAKE" myself try and look presentable and cutsie, and to document some of their super cute outfits (they have a gazillion after all).

Later, Jake and I had a post-wedding shower/party to attend that we were co-hosting (congrats Kim and Brad!) It was a super fun party.

Lastly, I had to do another set of pics from this morning before church, because they just looked so dang cute.

And here they are doing what I have just taught them recently - giving each other "hugs". OMG, could you not just DIE??? Hope everyone else is having a great weekend!!

Jules, after me asking "Where's Jules?"

Josh, in the 5 seconds it took for me to snap the pictures of Jules and I.

How does a child manage to do so much destruction in 5 seconds? He is such a boy!!

Steppin' Out Saturdays**

What a fun Saturday we had this week! Jake played golf Saturday morning, so I took off to our weekly Gymboree Class with Josh and Jules solo. Yes, a challenge, but they did great. Then Saturday night, Jake and I had a date-night! One of our friends was having a birthday party at our local winery, Arrington Vineyards. I have never been, and have been dying to go. Its about 30 minutes outside of Nashville, so while a bit of a drive, very fun. You take picnic type food (of, if you are a football fan, tailgate food. Then you do wine tasting, and buy your wine there. There is also live music. It was so much fun. Its a really neat place. For anyone local, I highly reccomend it. I can easily see a future girls night there.
