Oh yeah, still here

Well I am just embarassed. Embarassed embarassed embarassed!!

I'm not sure what has happened, but since kindergarten started, life went into overdrive. And it's going FAST. Let's update a bit:

1. Kiddos started kindergarten. They absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it. And in obsessed with their school! It's the best. Honestly.

2. They ride the BUS. Like, actually, big kids. Crazy.

3. Then, out of nowhere, fall happened, and football craziness ensued!

4. Then came the biggest, hugest thing ever. I took over, and actually own a store y'all! I had been renting space in a little boutique here in Nashville for a while now, then in mid September, I was approached about possibly taking over, and it was official Oct 1! She's all mine. I changed the name to my biz, La Petite Maison, and it's so much fun!!! Www.facebook.com/lepetitemaisonshop

5. Halloween! My little cuties were a black cat and a zombie, lol.

6. Jake and I even dressed up this year for a party! So fun!

7. November came. Nov 1 was the grand re-opening event at the store and it was a huge success! Then Nov 11 the next biggest thing ever happened:

Yay!!! Back to Disney we went. And this time, we did it right. Stayed Wed-Monday, went to every park, did the Very Merry Mickey Party, dined at character events every day. It was SO MUCH AWESOME.

9. Josh lost a tooth!! First one!

10. My niece Sutton turned two, and thenThanksgiving  happened.

11. And now it's December! Almost Christmas! I honestly can't believe it. Time has FLOWN. And you're all caught up!

We finally met them - ELSA AND ANNA OMG

It happened. A dream come true (for the kids too). They had family night at our club last week and who should show up but Elsa and Anna from Frozen!! I of course, knew they would be there, but it was a complete surprise for the kids. And while they kept asking why Jules needed to wear her Elsa dress and they both were allowed to take their lovies (the plush Elsa/Anna doll and Olaf) they were SUPER excited.

We have a local agency called Enchanted Entertainment. They offer lots of different princesses for any occasions. They have all your Disney favorites, and the girls are just as sweet as can be. So, Elsa and Anna were hired to come do crafts, facepainting, pictures, and a song-a-long with the kids as part of Family Night. It was AWESOME!!

If you know, I am Disney girl. I was just on cloud nine all night. To see Jules wait in line over and over again to get hugs made me honestly all teary-eyed. Love, love, love it

Craft time - everyone making Olafs!

Jules and Elsa!! (not her plush doll - its kind of freaky because its two dolls in one, you flip it over and it's Anna)

Jules and Anna! Now she had her Anna doll!

Josh showing him Olaf (or, O-love as he calls him, because he loves Olaf)

Popsicle time

Sing Along time is about to begin!

They taught movements and everything. Josh is ALL about it. In the middle of a puddle of girls lol.

Disney World Pt. 3 - The Pirates League at Magic Kingdom Review

Since Jules became a princess at the Bippity Boppity Boutique, naturally Josh needed some fun as well and became a Neverland Pirate at the Pirates League at Walt Disney World.

Like the Bippity Boppity Boutique, you had your choice of Pirates of which to become. And I will be honest, they are quite scary for a 3-4 year old. Definitely more along the lines of Pirates of the Caribbean, and Jack Sparrow, which is fine. They actually had just added a Jake and the Neverland Pirates choice, which Josh is currently obsessed with. We knew this before going by looking on their website, so I had already assumed, that'd be what Josh would choose. The good news is that it's cheaper to do Jake! The getup is a little less extravagant so that made me happy :) $29.95 for Jake as opposed to $34.95. (and of course, they have a girl's choice too - girl pirate or mermaid!)

These are the standard choices. And I'll be honest, it freaked me out looking at all these little dudes in the park.

With your $29.95, that includes a Jake bandana (with hair!), a tshirt, Jake facial makeup (oh those eyebrows lol), sword, sheath, a Pirates League bag, a fun necklace (that is personal from Jack Sparrow!!). They also get their picture made in a super secret chamber, and sworn in as an "official" pirate. Again, I'd highly recommend you booking this well in advance. We also tried doing this really early, but had to keep calling for cancellations.

Kind of like Bippity Boppity, they get taken back to a chair and made over. He thought it was awesome. His favorite part were the eyebrows. He still asks me to put eyebrows on his at home on my makeup table lol!

Eyebrows going on!

Comparing his eyebrows to the eyebrows on his newly purchased jake doll (sigh)

You digging your twin?

Hey Mom look at me! I'm Jake!

Dude is rocking this look, and is kind of freaking me out a little bit.

Pictures with Peter Pan. Who I will add, was the oddest bird in Disney World.

Wanted to include this picture because it's hysterical - this was much later at dinner, although we begged him to please keep the wig on, he refused - so now he's just rocking the eyebrows and necklace with no explanation whatsoever to those that gave us funny looks haha!!! Strong Brows Rule.

Disney World Pt 2 - Bippity Boppity Boutique Review

On our first day there, we took Jules to the Bippity Boppity Boutique at Walt Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. I mean, we had to, right? Everyone said it was a "must do" and naturally, she's obsessed with princesses. They have something there for Josh, to "knight him" but we decided to make him a pirate the next day at The Pirates League. I highly recommend you booking this well in advance. I feel like we did it a few months in advance and still didn't get anything. We had to keep calling and calling hoping for a cancellation. There is a location at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom in the castle or at Downtown Disney. (Naturally we wanted the castle!)

Once you get there you wait (for what seems like forever) for your name to be called and your "Fairy Godmother" to call you back. (they called for princess Julia")  Jules got her personal "boutique" seat. There are maybe 10? or so chairs. They really made it special and made her feel special. I highly recommend wearing your own princess dress. Otherwise, I'm sure your little girl will want to wear one while there, and they are pretty expensive at the parks.(and they literally have one million pieces of dresses, wands, shoes, accessories, etc- literally, lol)

Seriously, we'd been there five minutes...

SOOOOO ready to be Aurora! Thats her FAVE!

Me and Jules!

She then has her choice of hairstyles. Being a curly-haired princess (NOT Merida - don't get me started on that), she picked out the one with a pony tail, which was probably best for her. Most girls, naturally, chose the fairytale princess, but Jules' hair is way too curly and thick for that style. She actually chose the "color-star" princess look, and although not at ALL thrilled with the clip on color things, I liked her hairstyle (we took those out eventually)

Fair warning, they put alot, and I mean ALOT of product in their hair. Pretty much a shellac from the 80's. And hairspray, lot of it. But then at the end they sprinkle fairy dust and all is well with the world. Jules had a ball. She loved being pampered, and honestly fell like a honest-to-goodness princess.

Yes, I know Fairy Godmother, it's a lot of hair.

Thats me in the mirror lol!

See what I mean? check out the gel. Yikes.

It took what seemed like days to wash it out - but worth it!

She's blurry, but she's sprinkling the fair dust on her hair with a magic wand :)

You are the Fairest One of All :)
except for those crazy colored hair thingies.
My Little Princess! The shoes really don't go, but we were also at the park ALL day.

TOTALLY worth it. She met her "other" twin!
