We finally met them - ELSA AND ANNA OMG

It happened. A dream come true (for the kids too). They had family night at our club last week and who should show up but Elsa and Anna from Frozen!! I of course, knew they would be there, but it was a complete surprise for the kids. And while they kept asking why Jules needed to wear her Elsa dress and they both were allowed to take their lovies (the plush Elsa/Anna doll and Olaf) they were SUPER excited.

We have a local agency called Enchanted Entertainment. They offer lots of different princesses for any occasions. They have all your Disney favorites, and the girls are just as sweet as can be. So, Elsa and Anna were hired to come do crafts, facepainting, pictures, and a song-a-long with the kids as part of Family Night. It was AWESOME!!

If you know, I am Disney girl. I was just on cloud nine all night. To see Jules wait in line over and over again to get hugs made me honestly all teary-eyed. Love, love, love it

Craft time - everyone making Olafs!

Jules and Elsa!! (not her plush doll - its kind of freaky because its two dolls in one, you flip it over and it's Anna)

Jules and Anna! Now she had her Anna doll!

Josh showing him Olaf (or, O-love as he calls him, because he loves Olaf)

Popsicle time

Sing Along time is about to begin!

They taught movements and everything. Josh is ALL about it. In the middle of a puddle of girls lol.

Outings Lately

What is it about spring and summer? I honestly don't feel like we've left the house all winter and now I feel like you can't keep us at home. Oh well. Life is fun right now :) Here's a little of what we've been up to via phone pics. I'm on Instagram (www.instagram.com/apstribling) a lot, so please follow me to see our day-to-day stuff. I promise - it's uber exciting.

Memorial Day weekend took us to Austin, TX. A friend of ours was celebrating his 40th birthday (do I really have 40 year old friends? I am super sized old lol) Austin was a pretty fun city! As much as people compare it to Nashville and that we are "sister cities" I don't see it. yes, the music thing, etc. But they are REALLY different cities, IMO. These are all phone pics. I didn't take the big cameras with me :)

The whole gang!

Top Golf - this place might have been the most fun EVEH. Nashville needs one yesterday.
Top Golf - I look awesome.

This might have been the most fun ever. And worth the $25 to go a block, lol. And guess what? This dude was from Brentwood - what are the chances??

Some much needed pool-fruity-drink-no-kids time.

This place was yummy

More bike cart riding! This girl was cray cray.

Bike Cart selfies!

The dudes!

The girlies!

My dear friend Cleo is finally getting married, so we went to a fiesta engagement party in their honor last weekend. Congrats guys!

The next weekend we attended one (ONE ONLY) concert for CMA Fest here in Nashville. Ya'll - CMA Fest is crazy. I can only do it one night. It baffles me how people fly in from all over the country to do this. Whew. Good people watching though!

Let the people watching and red-necking begin! :)

Seflie!

And finally, we went down to Memphis last weekend. We got tickets to the St Judes Classic golf tournament, so me, Jake, Katie and Hunter went down and did some golf watching, dranking, blues listening, and barbecue eating.
gold course selfie!

Phil Mickelson!

I dont care what people say, I love this guy.

Hunter selfie!

At the top of the Peabody. I may and may not have mentioned a million times that Prince Harry and Prince William were JUST HERE and STAYED HERE

Thanks so the lovely tourist who snapped this stellar picture. After fifty takes I just told her to forget it.

more selfie fun!!

Baby Olive Turns One

Our sweet little niece Olive turned ONE! I can't believe it. I do in fact believe it was YESTERDAY when she was born. Time absolutely, positively is moving at lightning speed. Happy Birthday Olive!

The theme was simple - shabby chic with pink and gold. Simple and fabulous.

A chalkboard art I did for her birthday. I do these for my kids too. You can see them here and here

Her sweet high chair decorated with tulle

Her super cute invite sitting on her burlap bunny

I made the swag banner, the name banner, and the "1" plaque. Jen made the others!

Cake topper made by moi

Jen made the letters - So pretty gold with pink

The birthday burlap banner, made by moi. We hung pouf balls to add some fun

Adoring the monogrammed cake!
