New Year, New Blog, New Look!

So, have ya noticed things look a little different around here? Well, yeah, they do.

We have a new blog and new look! I hope you like it!! I did this for a variety of reasons.

1. Sigh - let's all be honest with ourselves. They are now 4. They are no longer the Fabulous Baby Striblings as much as I'd like to keep them babies.

2. I wanted the blog to be more of a lifetime thing. I will forever be Mandy (I hope) and J&J are the most fabulous multiples I know. So, hopefully that isn't going to change.

3. I love sneaking in some lifestyle, DIY, travel, etc type posts. I wanted it to be more about "us" than just baby updates. (Again, no longer babies...sigh) They are growing up, and I have to accept that. They/you aren't going to enjoy the baby posts anymore, and I want the blog to grow with them and with us. This is and has always been an outlet for me to post about them, me and our family life and other fun shenanigans.

4. Thats pretty much it! I feel like they were growing up, so the blog needed to as well. Hope you like it and like the changes!

Okay, here we go yet again. Let's hope I can keep at least one of these, eh?

1. LESS PHONE TIME. Seriously, must shut this thing off. It will help me be a better mother, and wife. And isn't that the most important??
2. Do Instagram more. Yes, I realize that totally contradicts #1, but I went though a huge phase last year that didn't record any of the little daily funnies of our life, and those are the most important :)
3. Yell less. Control my temper and short fuse. I certainly don't want my kids growing up with a temper and to yell at one another. I know they see me do it that that makes me super sad.
4. Eat cleaner. Exercise more. Period. Seriously.I have recently started selling Plexus Slim, and while I love it so so much (lost 10 lbs!) we need to improve the eating habits around here.
5. Blog more. I do love it so, and it took a huge back burner last year.
6. Grow Le Petite Maison. I am so proud of all that I accomplished in the few short months I started doing this. I plan to continue that this year!
7. Watch better TV. Seriously, we put the kids to bed then play with our phones/ipads. There are so many great TV shows that we have missed and haven't watched because of it. Less sports, better TV.
8. Become a GREAT stay-at-home mom. Big life changes around here, as I am officially staying at home now. And I really want to be the best I can. I know how easy its going to be to get into a rut, but I'm really going to try. I want to have a routine, a schedule. Learning activities, less TV, piano lessons, dance, etc.

Thats a long list. Let's see how it goes! YAY 2014! Bring it.

Christmas 2 - a Small Town Christmas

Super fun Christmas down in Waverly with our in-laws! The babes played with new baby Olive and her first Christmas, and got new bikes along with lots of other stuff. We also did our traditional "matching jammies" picture, lol!!

Christmas 1 - Knoxville Christmas

Christmas, Pt 1 was in Knoxville. Growing up, all the extended family would go to my Aunt Clara's farmhouse and open small presents and Santa would come visit! We have since tried to recreate said memories and still do this a week or so before Christmas. Except now, we all have kids so new memories are being created. It's pretty freaking awesome. We like to call it "The Dysfunctional Family Christmas". Here is a look back to our last one.
